HUNTING EXPEREINCE DAY - ONE DAY ONLY EVENT  - DADS INVITED SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2023    OPEN

Sign-up deadline is SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9th.  We will meet at the parking lot at Ridgeline Academy at 8:00am on Saturday, December 16th and leave by 8:30am. All Troop 531 Dads welcome to sign-up and join us!  We may need help with drivers.

Estimated Cost: $5-$9 per person (grubmaster fees for one-meal...lunch)

*Scouts cook by patrol and adults cook as a patrol.  We will need a volunteer adult grubmaster.

Schedule**:

​

Saturday, December 16

8:00am - Meet at Ridgeline

8:30am - Depart for Hunting Experience Day location

9:30am - Noon - Compass Course

Noon - 1:30pm - Lunch

1:30pm - 2:00pm - Clean up

2:00pm - 5:00pm - Rotations approx 1 hr each: Blood trail, glassing (spotting animals), animal tracks

5:00pm - Pack up and head home or back to Ridgeline if needed

I am willing and able to pull the Troop Trailer (cuz I'm awesome!)

Thanks for signing up by the December 9, 2023 deadline!  By signing up I agree to hold harmless the Troop leaders for any incident that happens during this camping trip and its activities.

CROSSOVER CAMP
ALL TROOP 531 SCOUTS NEEDED

CROSSOVER CAMP - NEED ALL SCOUTS TO ATTEND FOR GROUP PICTURE AND TO SUPPORT SCOUTS AT CROSSOVER  

FRIDAY, JANUARY 12, 2024 - SUNDAY, JANUARY 14, 2024    OPEN

Sign-up deadline is SUNDAY, DECEMBER 31st, 2023.  We will meet at the parking lot at Ridgeline Academy at 6:00pm on Friday, January 12th and leave by 6:30pm. Scouts will need to bring Class A with sash for Crossover Ceremony on Saturday morning.  They will also need their Totin' Chip to help teach and go in the axe yard.   We may need help with drivers.

6:00pm - Meet at Ridgeline

6:30pm - Depart for White Tank Mountain Regional Park (35 min drive in the West Valley)

7:00PM - Stop at MOD Pizza on Waddell Rd for dinner. Scouts need to bring $15 cash for their dinner.

Saturday, January 13, 2024

7:00am - Wake up and breakfast; get dressed in Class A uniform with sash

8:15am - Depart for Crossover Ceremony

9:00am - 11:00am - Crossover Ceremony

11:00am - Depart for camp and older Troop boys help new Scouts setup tents (help bring new Scouts gear back to our campsite in our vehicles)

Noon - 1:30pm - Lunch and clean up (demonstrate "how" we clean up)

1:30pm - 3:30pm - Totin Chip Training

3:30pm - 4:30pm - Free time

4:30pm - 6:30pm - Dinner

7:00pm - 8:00pm - Night Hike

8:30pm - Campfire

Sunday, January 14, 2024

7:00am - Wake up and breakfast

8:30am - Clean up led by Outdoor Ethics Guide

9:30am - Roses, Thorns and Buds

10:00am - Depart for Ridgeline
