Scouting for Food: February 1-9, 2026

Scouts of troop 531 went out to scout for food to help the homeless at the Foothills Foodbank. Each individual patrol picked different neighborhoods to scout for food. It started on February 1st, when patrols set out in their neighborhoods to hang up flyers on people's doors to encourage them to donate. Then, on February 9th, the patrols went back to their neighborhoods and picked up the food that the people left for the scouts to donate.

Court of Honor: February 2, 2026

In this fun and special event hosted by Taylor L , scouts earned awards like rank advancement, merit badges, and more. Also the Troop celebrated Eagle Scout, Zane J. Congratulations to those who worked hard to earn advancement, or merit badges, etc.

Evan W's Eagle Project: February 21, 2026

Many Scouts and Scoutmasters of the troop helped Evan W with his awesome eagle project.

For this Eagle project the Scouts and Scoutmasters helped make new benches and spread new gravel in the walkways of Liberty Wildlife.

Mountain Biking Campout: February 27-28, 2026

On this unique campout scouts went mountain biking in the nice morning on a great and easy biking trail. Then, scouts had a flag retirement ceremony. After that a few scouts went back mountain biking again but this time on a way harder trail.
